Hi I'm Heidi

I love the outdoors. I have been called to serve as a full-time missionary in the Philippines. I'm a Mormon. (:

About Me

I am the tenth of eleven children. I am so grateful for my family and their support. They are all such good examples to me and I appreciate and love each and every one of them. I absolutely love anything outdoors, especially rock climbing, long boarding, camping, canoeing, canyoneering... I could go on forever. I love all kinds of sports, but my passion is Ultimate Frisbee. I also love music. I play the piano, clarinet, saxiphone, oboe, and a little guitar and flute. I just recently graduated from BYU-Idaho and am now preparing to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Philippines. I am so excited for this opportunity and blessing in my life. I hope and pray that I will be able to fulfil this calling by inviting others to come unto Christ, who is my Savior and my Redeemer, my brother and my friend. (:

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is so important to me. It is who I am. If I didn't have the church in my life, I have no idea what I would be doing. It is such a strength and a joy to know who I am, why I'm here, and where I'm going. Just the knowledge of those simple truths helps me get through each and every day. I want every single person in the world to experience the happiness and peace that I feel when I learn new things, do what God asks, and feel His love. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do what the Lord would have me do each and every minute of every day. It can be challenging at times, but I know that as long as I'm trying, He will help me and bless me. I try to be optimistic and cheerful, because there are so many things to be grateful for. Life is SO good!
