Hi I'm Juliana

I am a single mother of three. I'm a dental hygienist, a model, an actress, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of seven siblings. I grew up in the military, an army brat, and have lived all over the United States. Because of that I have friends from many cultures and faiths. My parents instilled the value of education in me, as well as, the love of travel and learning about other cultures. I enjoy reading, yoga, hiking, exploring, watching movies, theater, and staying up all night playing board games with my family laughing till our sides hurt. I have recently become passionate about genealogy, thanks to the TV show "Who Do You Think You Are?" I can spend hours on the website http://familysearch.org. The other three things I am most passionate about are my children. I am a divorced mother of three. My kids are my life. They make me who I am. I am constantly in awe at what I have learned from them or because of them. And they are just plain the coolest people ever! I am a mother, dental hygienist, model/actress, and passionate about life and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family but most of my friends were of other faiths. My parents taught me how to decide for myself which church I wanted to belong to. I would attend other churches with my friends when they would invite me. As a child I would go to Summer Bible Camp at my friends' churches. My parents taught me how to listen to and feel the Holy Ghost testify of truth. They told me that I couldn't just believe in what they believed my whole life, that there would come a time when I would have to know for myself what was true. They taught me that God does answer prayers. I have read the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and I know they are both witnesses of God and that Jesus IS the promised Messiah, the Savior of the world. I have prayed to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and if Joseph Smith really saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I know it IS true. Knowing that gives me such peace and joy, motivation and direction for my life.. I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith in every aspect of my life. Being kind and respectful of others. Being grateful for all experiences in this life, even the hard ones (that's not always easy). Keeping a positive attitude. Serving others. No, you can't buy your way into heaven with service, but I have learned through experience, that service grows love. You can't pick horse stalls at 5:00 am in freezing weather without gaining more love for the family you are helping. You can't weed the yard of the grumpy old lady down the street without developing appreciation and compassion for her. You can't spend your Christmas day serving people at the homeless shelter without discovering at the end of the day that you truly care about them, even though they are strangers. Jesus taught love: He spent His life serving others. His suffering in Gethsemane and crucifixion was the ultimate gift of service for us. He did this because He loves us. I teach the 9-year-old kids in Sunday School. Once a month I visit 3 families in our church to see how they are doing, bring them an uplifting thought or message, and offer whatever help they might need. And, of course, I do my best as a mother to teach my children how to live a life of integrity and to turn to the Savior for support and guidance.
