Hi I'm Daniel Epperson

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am over 50 and married over 30 years to a wonderful woman. We have nine children and seven grandchildren and two more grandkids on the way later this year. I have wonderful kids her aren't perfect but know they are loved by me and their mother. They bring us a lot of joy. I have been blessed with unique skills to help me provide a comfortable life for my family. I enjoy working with people. I also enjoy working with my hands and figuring out and solving problems. I completed a college degree a few years ago and it gave me a great feeling of accomplishment. I am active in my community and try to make it better. I like to camp, read, watch sports and mostly spend time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a part Mormon home. My father was baptized when i was five. Parley P. Pratt, an apostle in the early days of the LDS church is my great great grandfather on my mothers side. It is a heritage I count as a blessing. When I was little I had a Sunday School teacher who showed a lot of love to us young children. Her spirit of love gave me a testimony at a very young age that the church was true. I later received a confirmation through study and learning for myself that the teachings of the church, The Book of Mormon are true. I am a reasonable person. The teachings about family, where I came from and life after this earthly existence are true. I believe this land of America is a choice land and that as long as righteous people inhabit it it will be blessed of God.

How I live my faith

I have served in many positions in the church. I have tried to serve to the best of my ability in all of them. I enjoyed serving as scoutmaster. I had great deal of support from parents and ward leaders. I enjoy home teaching and providing service to others, especially when i can serve in secret. I try to be an example of someone who lives what he believes. I think I am a good neighbor to all. I try to help others feel wanted and included in our congregation. I like to make people laugh and be happy. I think everyone deserves to be happy and that keeping the commandments and serving others will lead to happiness.
