Hi I'm Troy

I'm a Mormon. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, but equally important I am a son, brother, uncle, husband, and father.

About Me

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but equally important I am a son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and graduate student. My lovely wife and I were sealed in the Nauvoo Temple in September of 2002. We are blessed to have three beautiful daughters, ages 5, 3, and 2. My membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began at age five. Two missionaries introduced my family and me to the gospel, while living in St. Catherine, Jamaica. I enjoy being with and traveling with my family and being around friends and family. I love to study the religious history of those of African descent. I also enjoy sports, particularly football (i.e. soccer)

Why I am a Mormon

My membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is motivated by my love for and belief in a Heavenly Father and a Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by living by and being an example of all the truths that Jesus Christ taught. As such, I strive to serve (volunteer) in the community that I live in and try to show love to all those that I come in contact with daily.

In whom should we have faith?

Troy
Our faith is Jesus Christ. Faith in Christ is more than a theoretical belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, to have confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. It is a principle of action and power. Show more Show less
