Hi I'm Melanie Morrow

I grew up in South Dakota, then lived in Kentucky, have settled down in Virgina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up swimming year-round, and swam through the first year of college. I earned a B.S. in Recreation and Parks Administration. However, found out that in the Recreation profession I was working when others were not and decided I needed to make a change for my family. So, I went into banking. Loved the "Bankers hours"! My children are older and extrememly busy with year-round swimming, plays, and band. I love being able to help them develop and grow in school and in self-awareness.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know the Church is true. I know that my family can be together for eternity. I know that we were together prior to coming to earth. I know that Hevenly Father has placed us in these family units to help each other navigate our way back to live with him. I also know we have a duty to uplift and encourage others to find that path for themselves.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by visiting other women in the area each month. We learn each others strengths and weknesses, and uplift each other through discussing the situations we are in and how our Savior Jesus Christ set the example for us. I completely enjoy the time I get to work in our Primary Program. This program helps children ages 18 months to 12 years of age have fun together, participate in Cub Scouting. The goal is for our children to grow their Faith in God through song, dancing, and learning stories from the scriptures.
