Hi I'm Samantha Osborne

I'm a wife, a cosmetologist, a southern California native and, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a cosmetologist and studied the art of hair at Paul Mitchell Academy. I met my husband, Charlie, after being set up by mutual friends after a year of them trying to get us together we finally went on a date and I knew he was "the one" within 10 minutes of meeting him. He is the peanut butter to my jelly and I'm so lucky to have found someone who loves life like I do. Charlie is a United States Marine who is currently on a 7 month combat deployment in Afghanistan and will be back Spring of 2012. This separation is teaching us the true meaning of faith, prayer, hope, love and commitment. Even though this is the hardest thing we've been through as a couple thus far, I'm thankful that we've learned these important details that will help us in every aspect of our marriage. I enjoy chocolate, rain, laughing, doing hair, exercising, crafting, blogging, traveling, and going on fun adventures with my husband- even if it's just an evening walk to get frozen yogurt.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a part member family and have attended the Mormon church since I was born. Somehow, being raised by parents who were of different faiths (Mother born Lutheran, joined Mormonism at 18. Father is a spiritual man who believes in Christ but isn't a member of any religion.) made my faith in this gospel unwavering. I was married and sealed for time and all eternity to my best friend in the Newport Beach California temple in December of 2010 and it was the best decision I ever made. I am so thankful for this gospel and everything it teaches me; faith, prayer, knowledge of what has been and what's to come, eternal families, happiness, love and much more.

How I live my faith

I strive everyday to be the best person I can be and everyday, I thank our Heavenly Father for all that He has given me. All I can do to show my appreciation is to be the example I know He wants me to be and to someday teach our future children this gospel that I know to be true.
