Hi I'm Heidi Prince

I'm from Alberta. I love family, friends, animals, music and the prairies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currenly serving in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. I was born three months early. I grew up in the countryside of the Alberta prairie. I have always been involved with animals of all sorts. I have grown up playing piano and violin. I went to BYU-Hawaii where I made many dear friends from different cultures. My family, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and so forth, are very dear to me and have made me into who I am. I have been blessed with good friends who buoy me up in the gospel and in life. I love looking at the stars, snowshoeing, camping, horse-riding, hiking, canoeing and most anything outside. I also love the quiet moments of life; reading, writing, watching the sunrise, petting a kitten, holding a baby (ok, that's not always quiet), hearing a song that makes you melt, and just recognizing God's hand in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know that Heavenly Father restored the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a living prophet. I feel the love of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. That affects every aspect of my life. Because of that I am happy. I am loved. I grow spiritually. I can be with my family forever. I have a purpose. I am given second chances. I can be forgiven. I can be clean. I am surrounded by people trying to follow Christ and trying to help each other along. I have opportunity to serve others. I am a Mormon because I believe in Christ. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to the boy Joseph Smith and through him they restored their Church in its fullness. I know as I live the teachings of this Church that I am happy. I know it is true and good. I know I am the child of a Heavenly Father who loves me. I have felt that love. I know that I lived with Him before I came to this earth. He just wants us home and He will help us get there. And really, that's all that matters.

How I live my faith

I just try. I try to improve. I try to do my best. I try to follow the gospel and its teachings. Right now I am a missionary. But it's all about the little things! Reading my scriptures and saying my personal prayers helps me to feel the Spirit daily. Trying to love God's children- seeing them through His eyes-helps me feel God's love for myself and for them.
