Hi I'm Brianna!

I'm a wife, a stay at home mother, and a neighbor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young mother and wife. I have the privilege of being a stay-at-home mother to our sweet son. We were married in June of 2012 and welcomed our first baby in June of 2013. It's been the best decisions of my life and the blessings that have been received because of them are truly innumerable. I absolutely love being a homemaker. Cooking is my passion. We're an active family so healthy eating is a top priority for us. We love the outdoors and playing sports. There are few things in life that make my heart swell with love than watching my husband play with my son. I realize how lucky I got with him. I thank the Lord every day He lead me to this incredible man! I'm looking forward to the future and I am excited to watch our family grow!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I never knew anything different. In high school I went through some rough things and found my testimony as well as myself. I learned that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know each of us personally. They knows our thoughts, feeling, and desires. Christ suffered in Gathsemane and on the cross for each one of us. He is our brother, mediator, and friend. Through prayer, you can be lifted up to face any challenge of life. Christ will carry you if you let Him. I have also learned how much my family means to me. They are always there for me no matter what I'm going through. I'm so grateful that I have the privilege of being an eternal family unit with them because of the blessing of the sealing power done in the temple. I love the scriptures! The Book of Mormon and the Bible have helped me find answers to things I could not have found on my own. The prophets in these books were inspired of God to help us in our day.I just love this church! The welcoming people and the spirit I feel every Sunday is my energy for the coming week. I know I can go to any LDS church anywhere in the world and know I will be taught the same thing. I know this is the true church. I have had many confirmations by the Holy Ghost and through just living my daily life I feel the blessings that come my way. I know Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet who receives inspiration for the church and its members. I look forward to raising my family in this gospel.

How I live my faith

Before my engagement I was in young single adults ward (a ward for single people 18-30). The bonds you create with one another is amazing and I enjoyed being with people my age every week that I could relate to. Now that I'm married we're back in the family ward. We strive to become better each day which leads to us becoming better examples of our faith. We read the scriptures, pray, and study other church material together and individually. We go to church every Sunday and partake of the sacrament to not only renew our baptismal covenants to become clean once again, but also to remember Christ and everything he has done for us. What a reverence there is! I have become a better person just in society because of the values I learn from church. If members and nonmembers alike truly strived to do those basic values the world would be much more kind. I am so excited to learn and grow as I learn new things and apply it in my life!
