Hi I'm Lee Decker

I grew up in northeast Arizona on a ranch and small farm. I love the Arizona outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an attorney in a large firm and I am grateful I enjoy what I do to support my family. Figuring out complex legal questions and obstacles is fascinating and keeps my mind invigorated. When I am not working, I love doing outdoor types of things -- snow skiing, camping, hiking, canoeing, golfing, model rocketry, to name a few. My greatest enjoyment in life centers around my family. I have three daughters and two sons. I am proud to be a father and I love the challenge to be the best role model I can for the sake of my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and his Atonement. Through being an active Mormon I have felt God's love and help to overcome challenges and obstacles in my life. The church and its teachings gives me the tools I need to be a successful father and husband and to raise children who also love God and believe in Jesus Christ. In short, I'm a Mormon because it brings an eternal perspective to all I do in my life, whether it is working, spending time with my family, understanding world and local events, and learning new things.

How I live my faith

For several years now I have served with the youth in our church. I have been able to organize numerous overnight and week-long camping or other high adventure activities, all with a focus on experiencing God's creations while learning more about our relationship with God and Jesus Christ. These opportunities have enriched my life and have given me additional skills that I would not have otherwise developed or sought.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is a companion to the Bible. It not only testifies of Jesus Christ and His divine nature, but it also provides practical teachings to help families and individuals cope with the challenges of life. Show more Show less
