Hi I'm Heather

I'm a Cosmetologist. I love music and service. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student right now and I am studying Social Work. I hope to someday work in Adoption and the Forster Care System. I love music! I play the piano and I am learning how to play the ukulele. I love spending time with my family, going hiking, playing basketball and cooking new and fun things! I am really interested in International Development and have done a lot of non-profit work in Ecuador and soon in Africa. I love going to other countries and working a long side the people, experiencing their culture and helping them learn how to better their lives. Since I have been blessed with so much in my life, I want to use those blessings to help others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church my whole life and for that I am truly grateful. I know that this gospel is true. I know that our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ live and that they love us completely. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior that he suffered for our sins so that we can be made whole again through that atonement. I know that families can be together forever and I know that the Book of Mormon is another true testament of Jesus Christ. I know that President Monson is a prophet of God and that Joseph Smith was also. I am so grateful for this knowledge! It has helped me so many times in my life when I was making decisions or, feeling alone. I know that my Heavenly Father is always there for me and all I have to do is ask for his help. This testimony is the most precious thing that I have.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being active in my church callings. Visiting the other girls in the ward, helping those who are having a tough time, or that just need a friend. Helping to organize service projects for everyone in the ward to help with. Also by helping those around me. Looking for opportunities to serve the people that I meet everyday that are in need of help, or a friend.
