Hi I'm David Steele

Grew up on a farm, with the most amazing family in the world...I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm David Steele, and am currently serving a full-time mission in the state of Georgia. I have the most amazing family in the world. 9 siblings, and wonderful parents. I am the 9th child, and have an awesome little sister. My older 6 brothers, and 2 sisters have all served missions throughout the world. They have gone to (from oldest to youngest) Ben-Brazil, Joe-Mexico, Sarah-Honduras, Sam-Brazil, Jonny-Hong Kong, Daniel-Netherlands, Josh-Ukraine, and Rivkah served a performing mission in Nauvoo. They are the most amazing examples of true disciples of Christ. --I love to play soccer, and do activities with my family... and serving a mission is better than even the best flavors of ice cream.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church, and have attended faithfully with my family. Before coming on my mission, I knew that I had to gain a true testimony of the Gospel, before I could go and expect others to do the same. I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover, and prayed to know its truthfullness. My prayer was slowly but surely answered. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that Jesus Christ is the head of our Church.

How I live my faith

Growing up I always had great examples of righteousness to follow. I tried my best to live strictly the teachings of Christ, and the Living Prophets. I occasionally faltered, as all humans do, but through the suffering of our Savior Jesus Christ, I am always able to receive forgiveness, and to change and correct the mistakes in my life. I am so grateful to be on a mission sharing the message of the Restored Gospel with others. The gospel has blessed my life so much, that there was no way on earth that I wouldn't strive to bring that same happiness to all of God's children, my brothers and sisters.
