Hi I'm Alyssa

I am from Southern California. I love cheerleading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the country. My mom remarried shortly after I was baptized at age 8. We moved clear across town for about 8 years. During my junior year in highschool, we moved back to the country because of financial needs. Where I live there's only 5 houses on the street. One house is a weekend house where the owners only stay for hunting season and for farming. Two of the houses are elderly people and a small family. And the last two consist of my mom, sister, and her dad. And the other is my great-grandmother, my mom's parents, myself and my cousin. I am currently a 17 year-old highschool senior. I'm homeschooled. I work in a butcher shop shortly close to home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was the first child in my family to be born into the church under the covenant. My mom and grandparents are the original converts to the church. I choose to continually live His gospel beacuse I have found peace through my trials and tribulations by the comfort of the Holy Ghost. I'm so grateful for the trials I've been given in my life. Because of them, I have been able to understand why "everything happens for a reason". I truly believe that Heavenly Father has a plan for each and every one one of us, and the things that happen in our lives, good and bad, are all part of His plan.

How I live my faith

I love doing nice things for people! I feel so good about myself whenever I am serving others. I serve as president of the Laurels class (age 16-18) in my ward. I was also called to help the missionaries with teaching 4 lessons given to newly baptized converts of the church. I am so excited!
