Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Kent, Washington. I play volleyball, I love peanut butter and ice cream and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

So I am a student in college. I am studying communication disorders and plan on getting into the masters program for speech therapy. I love being with my family, watching movies, eating ice cream, playing volleyball and basketball. For the last two years I have won an intramural volleyball champion t-shirt!! In high school I went to state twice for volleyball and absolutely love the competition! I love dirt biking in the mountains in Washington state-pretty much anything out doors I love. Right now I am volunteering with the kids in Special Olympics, we just finished our bowling season and it was a blast! I am the 6th of 10 kids in my family. One of my favorite ways to pass time is quoting movies. I spend most of my time studying and just enjoying life!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with all my heart. The only way I can even come close to scratching the surface of expressing my love and gratitude to them is by being obedient and living as they would want me to.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by applying the words and counsel of our current Prophet to my every day life. I try every day, every moment to be the best that I can. And when I mess up, I know my Savior still loves me and I repent.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

There are countless things that tell me there is a God and not only that but a God who loves me and wants my happiness. He listens and answers my prayers, He puts people in my life that make me want to be more like Jesus Christ, I wake up and walk to work and look at the beautiful rising sun rays hit the mountains and the green grass. I know whenever I need comfort I can fall on my knees and He will take away my tears. Miracles are all around us we just need to have a broad perspective be humble and grateful for our countless blessings and then it becomes so easy to see God's hand in all things. Show more Show less
