Hi I'm Rikki

I am married and have a baby girl. I teach 5th graders I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading books, hiking, and spending time with my family. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Education in 2008 and am now an elementary school teacher. I love teaching and spending time with my 5th graders but nothing brings me more joy than spending time with my husband and daughter.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and gained a testimony of the gospel when I was young. When I was in 9th grade I began reading the scriptures daily and realized the truth that they contained. The Lord has always been there for me when I have needed him. I have felt the comfort of the spirit many times in my life and I don't know how I would make it through each day without the peace that comes from the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

On Sundays, my husband and I teach the 4 year olds. They are so fun and full of life. It's nice to spend time with them and realize how pure and innocent they are. We have a goal as a couple to read our scriptures and pray together daily. Sometimes our lives get busy and it's a struggle to find the time but when we do we are always blessed. We enjoy going to the temple together. It makes our marriage stronger and reminds us of the sanctity of marriage and the commitements we have made to each other. I love the gospel and want to do whats right. I'm not perfect but I'm trying to do better each day. I know that aligning my life to the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will make me happy.
