Hi I'm Terri

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 7. I have spent my life raising and caring for my family. I have been a member of the LDS Church my whole life. I was raised in a home where my parents were not active members of the church. Thankfully I was surrounded by wonderful people who treated me well and showed me how to live the gospel. I enjoy traveling, reading, and playing tennis. I love that playing tennis keeps me active and gives me the chance to meet all kinds of wonderful people. I also enjoy crafts, sewing and baking. I love being a grandma! My grandkids make me smile and bring me joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I choose to be. Although I was raised in the church, I have come to know for myself that the gospel of Jesus Christ is real and true. Through much praying studying and serving in Christ's church, I have gained my own testimony of the savior and the Plan of Salvation. I have found that by living the principles of the gospel, I have been blessed and avoided much of the heartache that others sometimes experience because of poor choices and lack of knowledge to make better choices. I love that the gospel has a plan for us and gives a clear understanding of what true happiness really is. The gospel gives me peace that cannot be found elsewhere.

How I live my faith

I have spent many hours serving in different ways in the church. I have worked a lot with the youth, especially teenagers, trying to help them see the true happiness which comes from living Gods commandments. The women in our church spend many hours doing service for each other as well as in our community. We are always looking for ways to help those in need. I try to remember and emulate the savior in my everyday encounters with others. I pray each day for guidance from my Heavenly Father and try to be a good example to my family and friends. I help to organize special events where the women of the church can come and learn skills that will help them be better mothers and wives. We also provide opportunities for women to help each other grow spiritually. I try to treat everyone as a child of God.
