Hi I'm Kamilla Kaye

I've seen the Eiffel Tower. I've backpacked across Zions National Park. I love adventure and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I thrive on adventures. I love to go to new places and try new things. The best thing about my adventures, though, is being able to meet so many different people. Right now I'm on the most amazing adventure of my life. I'm living in Kentucky as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home where the Mormon faith was practiced and taught. My parents were very supportive of me and encouraged me to decide for myself if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints was true. In order to know for myself if it was true I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to God, our Father in heaven, to know of it's validity. As I read I felt God's love for his children and especially for me. I have absolutely no doubt that it is, as the title says, Another Testament of Christ. I know that God loves each of us. I know that Christ lives. I know that this is their Church. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My faith in Jesus Christ has shaped who I am and the things I have chosen to do. I live my faith by praying often, reading my scriptures daily, going to church weekly, and serving everyone I can. I have had many assignments that have allowed me to serve many wonderful people. I am currently serving a mission in Kentucky. As a missionary I testify of Christ and invite everyone I meet to come unto Christ. I love the opportunity to serve the people of Kentucky and help them grow closer to their Savior, Jesus Christ.

In whom should we have faith?

Kamilla Kaye
We should have faith in both Christ our Savior and God our Father in Heaven. To have faith is more than just believing they exist or that we "believe" Christ lived and died for us. It is having trust and confidence in them. Our faith in God and our Savior gives us strength when we have none. Our faith in Christ encourages us to hope in things to come. Our faith in Christ inspires us to live more in line with His teachings. Show more Show less
