Hi I'm Olivia

I grew up on the east coast. I'm a bookmaker. I love bagels. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Virginia and have lived on the east coast my whole life, but for now, I am a student out in the west. I love visiting cities and just getting lost. I have an obsession with eating bagels and I dream of opening a bagel shop one day. I'm a little artsy and I love making handmade books. I served a mission in the Kyiv Ukraine and I loved every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints brings happiness and peace into my life. I have an assurance that I have a Heavenly Father who loves and cares for me. I know that He sent his son, Jesus Christ to atone for my sins so that I can live with Him again. My Father in Heaven has also sent prophets, not only in Biblical times, but in these modern days. He sent Joseph Smith to restore the gospel once again on the earth. Through prayer and my study of the Book of Mormon, I know that this church is true. I feel the peace and joy it brings in my life.

How I live my faith

Service is a huge part of living my faith. I volunteer by mentoring youth who don't have a lot of support at home to pursue a higher education. I enjoy working with kids and seeing their creativity. Serving other people is one of the best ways to show our Savior that we understand his teachings. In Galatians 5:13, Paul teaches that we serve one another by love. A simple act of kindness, such as giving a compliment or asking about their day, can show a person that someone cares about them.
