Hi I'm Cindy

I was born & raised in sunny Southern California. You can always catch me laughing & lovin' life. I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

My three loves in life are kids, music, and being a member of Christ's church. Being around young children and caring for them gives me pure joy. I love my nieces and nephews more than anything and would do anything for them. Children are the light of the world and we can learn a lot from them with a little time and patience and a lot of love. :) Music calms my soul. No matter what mood I'm in, I can find a song I can relate to. It is my dream to be a legitimate DJ, but I don't think I have the skills to pull it off. A girl can always dream though! Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings me more happiness than I can begin to express. It is my life and I wouldn't trade anything for it.

Why I am a Mormon

I know without a doubt in my mind that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's kingdom on the earth. The only way that I know that is because I have felt it in my heart through reading the Book of Mormon and praying to my Heavenly Father to guide me to the truth. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. It testifies of our Savior and of God's plan for each of us. Anyone of us is important and special in God's eyes and he has provided a way for us to return to live with him again through His son, Jesus Christ. My Savior is my Reedemer, my brother, and my rock. I know that the gospel can bring ANYONE happiness, but only if they give it a chance.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in various responsibilites within the church such as: playing the piano for songs sung in church, being the chorister for the music, leading and organizing the activities of groups of girls ages 12-17, and others. I have been given many one-on-one opportunities to work directly with other members of the church and to hear their testimonies. It brings a sense of support and comfort to know that there are other people that are trying to do what's right by living the gospel.
