Hi I'm Trevor

I'm a happy family man. A comedian (in my own mind), a sports fan, an occasional runner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family. I have three beautiful children and the best wife anyone could wish for. We love to laugh. I play guitar, sing along to songs even if I have to make up the lyrics along the way, and I'm not afraid to be goofy. I love running even though I am not completely devoted to it. I am spontaneous and love to do things last minute. I am a devoted fan to my favorite college football team.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was blessed to be born to Mormon parents. I'm still a Mormon because of the truths I have been taught and the answers to prayers I have received. I am humbled by the fact that my family can be together forever. Living the teachings of the church has brought me tremendous peace and guidance that have allowed me to avoid much of the heartache that comes from big mistakes. I have been supported in my trials and the adversity in my life that has come; I have a deep and abiding faith in my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first fulfilling my role as a father. It is important to our family to regularly eat meals together, spend time studying the Bible and Book of Mormon, and to have fun together in family activities. I serve in the bishopric in my ward, which means I assist the bishop in making sure the needs of our congregation are met. I coordinate with the youth leaders and spend between ten and twenty hours a week helping to support our unit. In my work life, I manage a group of ten to fifteen people and I try to show love to everyone I work with. We try to serve others whenever we see a need.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is so important to Mormons because we believe that our family relationships can last beyond this life. Our families are the greatest source of joy that we have on this earth. When a family properly functions there is support and peace inside the walls of our home, regardless of what is happening outside. Show more Show less
