Hi I'm Mark

I'm a missionary. I'm a swordsman. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission in Taiwan. I enjoy rapier/Medieval/Renaissance-style fencing. I've been doing fencing for about five years, and I still have a lot to learn. I'm an Eagle Scout. I'm a PC gamer. I enjoy a good fantasy story, and I love to write, though I'm really bad at it. I studied Psychology for one semester at Utah State University before setting off for Taiwan to serve a mission. I love Psychology because I love helping people. That's really why I've chosen to serve a mission--because I know that this gospel can help people with whatever challenges they may face.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because, amidst all the challenges I've ever had, I've always known that I have a loving Father in Heavenly to guide and watch over me. As I've put my trust in God and Jesus Christ, I've seen the evidence of their existence, and I've felt of their love for me.

How I live my faith

As I stated above, I'm currently serving as a missionary for the church. I get to share this joyful message with the people of Taiwan, and I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to do so. I've always strived to live in harmony with gospel standards. I've kept myself from harm, addiction, and certain painful trials by following these standards.
