Hi I'm Jacob

My name is Jacob, I am a Downhill Mountain Biker, Expert Skier, Missionary, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jacob, and I am a full of energy, life loving, Thrill seeker. I am Downhill Mountain Biker, Triathelite, Downhill Skier, Brother, Uncle, Best Friend, World Traveler, and Son of God. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my entire life. My passion for the outdoors has brought me closer to the Savior. So many majestic scenes, in back drops all over the world have set my sights towards God. Our Father in Heaven has given me the chance to live on this earth and grow in faith and knowledge, and to share with everyone my own testimony of the things He has created for His children. I feel blessed to know that my Father in Heaven wants me to return to Him someday, and that there is a path, and I don't have to walk it alone. I have no reason to fear what comes after this life, Because I have been taught and learned of Gods plan for His children. I have made my own mistakes, and had many stuggles through life, and at time I have felt very alone, but every time I have humbled myself to prayer, I have found peace in knowing that the Savior, Jesus Christ, suffered for me, and knows my pain. Jesus Christ has given me hope, and a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and that a mordern day prophet leads and guides His church on the Earth today. I am a proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that Heavenly Father loves each and every one of His children, and because He loves us, He would not want us to be unguided through this life. I believe that the Church that we established on the earth during Christ ministry has been restored to the earth today through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I also believe that the same priesthood that was given to the Apostles during Christ time, is found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and has all the keys and powers restored to the Prophets, even Thomas S. Monson. The Church is led by divine inspiration, and Christ still teaches His disciples on the earth today. I know that Heavenly Father would does not want His children to go astray, and He give's us all the tools we need to find our way back to the straight and narrow path, and to return to live in His presence. Through the Prophet and Apostles, called of God, are directed to lead and guide us along our earthy journey, and instruct us as to what we must do to repent and be baptized, and fulfill all thing that our Heavenly Father has prepared for us.

How I live my faith

My faith in the Lord Jesus Christ guides my life, and I live in accordance with the laws and commandment that God has given us, throught His prophets of old, and new revalation through morden day prophets. God has a plan for all his sons and daughters, and as we live in accordance with all His teachings, He will guide us through life, with a knowedge that we are doing good, and living as He would have us do. I live my life by these teachings because I have prayed to know how my Father in Heaven would have me live, and the choices I have made, and being a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has aloud me opportunities that I may have never had if I had not.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Jacob
I have a personal belief that our Heavenly Father is really there, and through His son Jesus Christ, He gave a us away to return to back to His presence someday. I know for myself that He is real, and have felt His loving guidence in many of the challanging times in my life. I know that Heavenly Father loves and cares for me. And because He loves all His children, He wants them to know that He cares for us and that He wants us to be able to return to live with Him again. And through His son Jesus Christ and His Atonement, with the Bible and Book of Mormon, and through reading and prayer, we can know how, and what, we must do to prepare ourselves to live with Him again. As I listen to the Prophet and the Apostles, Men called of God, I know that He lives, and we will be able to meet our Savior again someday, and return to live with our Father in Heaven.
