Hi I'm KiLee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of two children - a daughter & son. I love getting to stay home with them & watch them grow & develop. I love the way they look at the world! They suprise & amaze me every day with things they've learned. They make me smile & give me hope for the future. I have always loved to draw & at one time I wanted to be an artist. When I was little my dad mentioned that he didn't think it would be a good profession & for some reason that really stuck with me. After high school, I gave up on drawing for a LONG time & have just recently started again. I'd forgotten how much I love it & am looking forward to practicing more & more & developing that talent.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but when I was a teenager, I decided to really read & pray about the Book of Mormon. Because I really wanted to know for myself, I got my answer. I didn't hear a voice or see a vision, I just felt the most incredible feeling. I just knew. I felt how much God loves me & I hope I never forget what a wonderful feeling that was! The Gospel means everything to me - I love my family & want to be with them forever. I get great strength from knowing that I can be with the ones I love most for all eternity. I have a sister who is severly chronically ill & also has a terminal illness. It gives me a great comfort to know that although I might not have too much longer with her on this Earth, I will see her again & she won't be in the pain that she is now. I am so grateful to our Savior for the love He has for each & every one of us!

How I live my faith

Right now I help teach the young women 12-18 in our congregation. I love it! I love listening to the girls testimonies & hear about how they've shared their testimony with their friends. They know what is right & are striving to live their lives in faith & virtue & to help their friends to do the same. I also love visiting with the other women in our congregation. I have learned so much from them! It's so nice to know that even though we don't all live in the same circumstances, we still have so much in common! My church family is really my second family. After we had our second child, I ended up with pneumonia so severe I was in the ICU at the hospital for a week. We were also getting ready to move at this same time. During my time in the hospital, our families & our ward family all worked at packing everything & cleaning our apartment so I wouldn't have to worry about. It was something that I will never forget! They sacrificed their time for me & my family & I will be grateful forever!
