Hi I'm Aaron

I grew up in Salt Lake City. I work for a Janitorial Supply Company. I'm married with 4 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I've lived here my whole life. I served a mission in Guatemala City but have always lived in Utah otherwise. I'm a husband and a father. I have four beautiful children. I work for a janitorial supply company with some of my very best friends. I enjoy technology. That's my favorite hobby. I also enjoy watching movies. I'm also a fledgling writer. I'm working on my first book right now. I would also consider hard work a hobby. I love working hard; whatever the task or assignment.

Why I am a Mormon

My family comes from a long line of Mormons. I have pioneer ancestors on both sides of my family. I'm a Mormon because I choose to be. I had a very good friend and mentor during my Junior year in High school who challenged me personally to read and pray about the Book of Mormon. I took on that challenge. It was a defining period in my life. Every good decision I've made in my life had been the result of the faith in God that I developed during that year. I owe a lot to that man who chose to challenge me in just the right way. Of course, I owe a lot of my faith to my parents as well. They were and continue to be great examples of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I currently have the opportunity to work with the young people ages 12 to 19. It's a great opportunity because I'm not just confined to the youth of my neighborhood. I get to visit other nearby areas and participate in helping those youth succeed in life as well. My job is to help them develop their faith in Jesus Christ. My job is to help them commit to a way of life that will bring them closer to God and His Son in all that they do. It's a great opportunity. Working with them really does bless my life. I also live my faith by being a father. I have opportunities each day to share my love of our Heavenly Father with my wife and my children. They are my most important mission in life.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Aaron
One of the really great things about this church is that we're out to help as many people as possible, whether they believe as we do or not. Right behind loving God is the need to love all His children. That's a great opportunity. Communities can be strengthened as we work together in love and unity. So, no, we don't just help each other.
