Hi I'm Karen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom of four who is having an absolute blast with these young mom years. I am married to the funniest person I know who keeps me laughing and getting the most out of life. I'm an overly social person who loves to meet new people. At the same time I have an extremely geeky side because I could sit and watch documentaries or read books about different cultures, history or animals or pretty much anything all day.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I have thought about this question thousands of times. If I were to create a church and have it run my way...it probably wouldn't look exactly like the Mormon church, but I have realized that I don't want to be a member of a church that simply agrees with my ideas. Where's the growth in that? I wanted to belong to a church that helped me to become what God knows I can become. As I have lived the Mormon faith and learned that I can pray from my heart and speak to God like he is really listening I have found a happiness and fulfillment in life I don't think too many people know exists. My life has so much meaning as I turn to the example of Jesus Christ and try to follow him. I guess the simple answer to the question of why am I a Mormon is simply this, it makes me so happy and it feels so right.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a little better each day and be the best version of me possible knowing that I am an individual with strengths and weaknesses. My faith is in Jesus Christ and his grace. I know that by turning to his example I can see the best in others. I hope that living my faith means to see the good in all people and try my best to help them feel the love that God has for them.
