Hi I'm Kim

I'm a nana. I love cupcakes. I'm afraid of thunderstorms. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the mother of three grown children. I have two grandaughters and one grandson. I have lived in SC most of my life. I love to have family and friends come over to visit. I love a a full house! I often have the missionaries from the church come over for dinner. Some of them call me their "mish mom" (their mom away from home). I appreciate the dedicated work they do. I like to play cards and board games. I like to color in a coloring book. I love to eat cupcakes. I am currently taking online college classes for a certificate in the healthcare field. It's never too late to learn something new.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was 27 years old. I had been searching for a church to join. I knew that I loved Jesus and I knew that he loved me, but I still had questions about where I came from, what my purpose in life was. Sister missionaries knocked on my door and shared their gospel message with me. I attended church with them and that is when I knew that I had found the place where I could find the answers to my questions. Through faith I continue to learn more and more. My testimony of the gospel is strengthened everday. I love the church. I love Heavenly Father. And I love Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the teachings of Jesus Christ and remembering to be obedient to the commandments. I do my best to think of the needs of others and always remember to be kind and charitable. I attend my church meetings regularly, I fullfill my duties in my church calling, I provide service when and where needed, I read my scriptures daily, and I pray to Heavenly Father continually.
