Hi I'm Christine

I'm a physician assistant, I'm a musician, I'm a survivor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although I'm pursuing a career in medicine as a physician assistant, music has always been my first and greatest love. I play the bassoon in three community ensembles, and I love every minute of it. I've faced some serious personal challenges in my life, some of which I thought would be the end of me, but I consider myself a survivor and an amazing success. I'm learning to be grateful for my struggles because they have made me stronger, softer, and wiser.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but gaining a testimony of the Gospel is a personal journey that each person must take individually. I am a Mormon because multiple experiences in my life have affirmed to me the truthfulness of the Gospel. Sometimes a passage from the Book of Mormon will testify powerfully to my heart in a moment of great need. Sometimes The testimony of another will resonate in my soul in such a way that I cannot deny its sincerity and truth. When I pray, God hears and answers. I know my Savior lives, and I know he lived and died for each of us. I know that, and I cannot deny it. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The greatest way I can live my faith is to live as an example of the believers. I want to be a light to the world - a beacon of faith and hope in trying times. There is no greater way to serve the Lord than to love others as He has loved us. By striving to live my life according to the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ, I can best bless those around me.
