Hi I'm Maggi

I enjoy running, laughing, time with my family, real country music and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being around people and spending time outdoors, unless it's humid. I love playing any kind of card games and spending time around the table with my family laughing. I have 6 awesome sisters and one sweet brother, 5 nieces and 3 nephews. I have taken on a new motto to life, "I can do hard things". That way I look forward to everyday and the challenges it might bring, knowing no matter what I will conquer them! :) This also reminds me that school will not last forever ;) I have been married for two years and am excited to start a family soon.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ has completely changed my life. It was not until I came to an understanding of the love of my savior for me and my family that I felt real peace in my life. It is through the teachings of the gospel that I now know and understand what my Heavenly Father expects of me. I know as I follow the example of my savior and the commandments that He has given to us through love that I will be able to be with my family forever and live this life with direction, comfort, confidence, and faith. It is through the gospel of Jesus Christ that I came to know that He has a plan for all of us and that is for us to return to live with Him again. I am so grateful for my savior Jesus Christ and His unconditional love for all of us. I am grateful for his sacrifice in the garden of gethsemane where he suffered for each of our sins and transgressions that we may have the gift of repentance when we do wrong and comfort when we feel over whelmed or sad. I am grateful for Him willing giving up His life for us and taking it back again that we may know death is not the end. I have chose membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it is where I find the spirit of God so strong. I do believe that God is unchangeable and just like times of old He calls prophets to direct His children. I firmly believe that God called the prophet Joseph Smith to restore the exact church He established personally when he was on the earth. And that we have prophets and apostles living and guiding us today. I am grateful for them and their wise council. I am grateful for the Bible and The Book of Mormon. It is through them together that I am able to know and have a deeper understanding of my savior and the life He lived and things He taught. I know that I will always find the answers to any questions I may have within them. I love the gospel and am so grateful to be a mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to follow our christian beliefs and that is to be an example of christ. To serve others around me and treat them with kindness. I strive to be accountable for my daily actions and have them be in harmony with my beliefs. I try to stay focused on the things that matter in life like family and education and not get to caught up in the craziness of the world and worldly things.
