Hi I'm Nicole Cooper

I'm a northwest native. I'm a homemaker in a household of four. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the town of Sammamish, Washington. I was in-between two brothers, one older, one younger. I never thought I would be doing what I am doing at the young age of 25. I feel truly blessed to be where I am today and to have accomplished the things I have. I am a mother of two beautiful children; 18 months, and 3. Being a Mom defines my life in every aspect. I have found new hobbies and interests after having children. I love to sew, bake, and create designs for my home. I am a hairstylist on the side, when time allows me to be. My house, is constantly being cleaned, there is always lots of noise in the background, whether its, crying, yelling, or laughing. Each day I learn something new from my children. It makes me a better person. I wouldn't trade this life for anything else!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in an area where members of my church were not in abundance was a blessing. I have lived in Utah and have seen the difference in a high populated area of members versus one with much less. It was much easier to see things in a black and white when it came to the gospel. Where I lived there were members that were either extremely strong or were struggling a little harder. I was not always a very strong member growing up. I went through trials that shaped me into the person I am today. I have seen first hand the blessings and consequences of each choice I made and continue to make. My parents always gave me a great example of how I needed to live my life in order to be closest to the Savior. I always knew exactly what the perfect role model was to be striving for. I could tell from the people around me who had been living righteously and who were not. It was the people that followed the teachings of the gospel that were the most happy. It wasn't until I made the choice for myself to make the necessary changes that I needed to make me feel closer to the Savior. I had all the right things in my life; loving parents, good friends, and a support system from the church. Only I could have decided when I was going to make my life a better one. The gospel of the church brings undescribable amounts of happiness. That is what I wanted. I wanted to wake up everyday and feel happy about who I was and how I was living. This is why I made that choice and decided to live my beliefs of the LDS church. There comes nothing but happiness in the gospel of LDS church. It brings the best out of people and gives us the crutch we need to lean on when life gets tough. It is the comfort and joy in all things. I'm a mormon because life is not happy without living the beliefs I have in my church . I don't feel the peace I need without it. I don't feel the reassurance I need without it. And I don't feel complete without it!

How I live my faith

I currently plan the events for the older sisters in our ward. I love to feel involved in the ward and try to serve as much as I can. Making dinners for those in need, or even just helping out someone with a small favor. I visit with three sister every month to lift them up and make sure their needs are being taken care of. It is through service that brings us closer to Christ. He was the perfect example of how to live.
