Hi I'm Kassie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest of four girls. I grew up in beautiful South Carolina, spending a lot of time with my sisters. I went to college in Utah and graduated in recreation management. I married an amazing man and we are raising our 3 precious children. I love cooking, reading & playing with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the church. All my life I was taught the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I was eleven I had a desire to know for myself if the church was true. With the simple faith of a child I prayed and asked if the Book of Mormon was true and if the church was true. I can still remember the overwhelming love and assurance I felt that yes, yes it was true. I am still amazed on a regular basis that our Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. That He knows each one of us individually and loves us for who we are. I am so grateful for the teachings of the gospel, for knowing that our Savior, Jesus Christ, makes it possible for us to return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I am also grateful that we have a living prophet, a man chosen by Heavenly Father to lead us and guide us during these tumultuous times.

How I live my faith

My faith is such an integral part of me. It has taught me to appreciate all of the different aspects of my life. I spend a lot of time doing small things everyday, making lunches, picking up toys, dropping off kids & picking them up, sweeping the floor. Throughout these seemingly menial tasks, I try to feel and express my joy and gratitude. I help teach the children at church. I love planning lessons for them. It is so wonderful to be able to teach the simple gospel truths to them.
