Hi I'm Taylor Williams

I'm a wannabe musician, a history buff, a native Coloradoan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the great state of Colorado! I'm the oldest of five kids and am currently majoring in History Teaching and minoring in English Teaching at Brigham Young University, trying to survive the craziness of college life. I love living in Utah and I'm loving my twenties! I enjoy the outdoors, country music, tennis, summer, singing, travel and reading. I have the greatest family and the best friends and wouldn't be where I am without them. I love music movie soundtracks, chap stick, happy books, cellos, musicals, toast, and summer.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I want to be. I was raised in the church, but that's not why I'm still in it. I know that God lives and the Jesus Christ is my Savior. Being out on my own for the past year has led me to realize that I can't see myself being happy if I didn't have Jesus Christ and his church as my foundation. The gospel of Jesus Christ is true--all of it. I am always the happiest when I am living in accordance with the commandments of my Heavenly Father. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings more love, knowledge, light and joy to my life than any other thing. I know that through it, I can live with my family again, return to my Father in Heaven, and live a life the way my Savior would want it to be lived.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to view others through the eyes of my Savior, striving to be an example of Jesus Christ, and sharing the gospel with those around me. I do all I can to better myself and then turn outward and try and influence and be influenced by others.
