Hi I'm Lauren Brinton

I love swimming, I am a full time student. I love living the Gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was on the high school swim team, I love reading and getting an education. I enjoy hanging out with friends with my spare/free time and helping and serve them any chance I can. I love singing, alone as well as with a choir. I am learning to appreciate and love yoga. I enjoy hiking and camping and spontaneous adventuring. I love living the Gospel and it has helped me grow stronger. Being raised in a divorced home, I learned at an early age to rely on the Savior. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for my moms example of living Christ-like. I have graduated high school and am preparing for college as well as a mission in the near future. I have a strong testimony of this gospel, I know without a doubt in my mind and heart that it is the only true and living church. I know my Savior lives and that He loves me more than I could ever imagine. He places people our lives so that we can become stronger or so that we can strengthen each other. I am who I am because of the knowledge I have of my loving Father-in-Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised into a Mormon family... I am grateful to my mother for doing so, without her, I wouldn't be where I am today. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and that He died for us. I know that the current prophet that we have today is the true prophet of the Lord and that he is inspired to help lead us. I know that when I pray and read my scriptures daily that I am blessed and I'm more in tune with the Spirit of the Lord. As I also said earlier, I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for the knowledge I have of my Savior. I know He loves me and watches over me. I have seen His hand in my life more times than I can count and I am eternally grateful. I know that this gospel is true, I know it and I love it. It is a huge part of who I am and my purpose. I'm not perfect, but I always am trying to better myself. My Heavenly Father knows I'm not perfect and I can only imagine how frustrating it must get watching the mistakes that are made, by me and His children. I am grateful for such a loving and living God that has provided a way for us to return home and be with Him again, as long as we live worthily. I know that without the sealing covenants made in His holy temples, we won't be able to receive our highest glory and one day I hope to be able to find a young man worthy to take me to His holy house so we can be sealed for time and all eternity. I know families are forever and that we will be with our loved ones again. Christ has broken the bands of death and has provided us a way to be saved. I know He lives and He loves us and I hope that one day I'll be able to go out and share His gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church, attending Seminary everyday and remembering the promises I have made with my Father in Heaven. I'm definitely not perfect, but I try my hardest to do what I know my Heavenly Father wants me to do.
