Hi I'm David Harrington

I live in Provo, Utah. I attend BYU. I have a wife, four children and one on the way. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for 12 years. I have a son that is 11, another son that is 8, a daughter that is 6 and another daughter that is 19months. I am attending college at SLCC to finish up a few classes and then transferring to University of Utah to get my degree in Health Promotions and Education. I like to hike and run. I collect Pez dispensers and enjoy a good movie. I served a mission in the West Indies. I served in the countries of Trinidad, Guyana and Barbados. It was an amazing experience and I met the most wonderful people.

Why I am a Mormon

This church teaches correct principles from the scriptures and from living prophets. Everything is consistent and makes perfect sense. The spirit has confirmed that this church is true many times to me. The principles taught for our youth and for our families makes living in this life so much easier. I know we have trials just like everyone else, however, knowing the truth, gives purpose to those trials.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures daily and try to spend as much time with my family as possible. I have a responsibilities in the church that allows me to help others and feel their testimony. I don't watch or listen to media that is vulgar and I don't partake of harmful substances.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

David Harrington
They are fantastic! Women in our church are very involved with everything we do. They are key to the success of our family. My wife is loving and supportive and can make an amaaaazing cheesecake. Although it is said we are equal, I personally feel that the men are always trying to keep up with the spirituality of the women in the church. Show more Show less

David Harrington
Like the Holy Bible, it was written by prophets in ancient times. Lehi and his family were the first to write and then the sailed to the Americas were other prophets wrote in it. These were men called of God and testify of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
