Hi I'm Brent

I love to play sports; especially baseball and tennis. I love spending time with family and friends; and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old and I am the second oldest out of 6 siblings. I just graduated from high school in Mesa and an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. I love...LOVE to play games and spending time with other people. I find joy helping others with anything that I can. I played the baritone for 5 years and loved every second of it. My favorite subject in school is physics (yes, I know... I am crazy!!). I love to challenge myself with anything; school, sports, life—you name it! Like I said, I love serving others and being friends with everybody. My family is the greatest support I have and I do not know what I would do without them. I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, going repelling, rock climbing and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised up as a Mormon. However, this did not mean that I was a blind follower. I had to know for myself if the church was true. I read the Book of Mormon several times and prayed fervently to my Father in Heaven to know if this church is the church I needed to follow. Heavenly Father has answered my desire to know several different ways althroughout my life. A burning feeling of joy and truth inside me at one time to an emotional realization of truth another time. However, the most common way for me is the logical knowledge that the church is true; everything makes sense!

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday to worship my Father in Heaven. I learn, feel, and act upon the things I learn there. I am an elder in the Melchizedek Priesthood (which is the exact same priesthood of God that Moses, Abraham, and other prophets of old had.) I have had a desire to serve a mission and as such, have been called to serve a mission in the Chile, Santiago East mission. There, I will be able to put everything aside in my life and solely serve The Lord for 2 years.
