Hi I'm Barbara

I've lived in Utah and Argentina. I'm a wife, mom and student. I love my life. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a newly wed and I love spending time with my husband! My husband and I were high school sweethearts. About a year ago a returned from Argentina after living there about a year. While I was there I learned Spanish (I really didn't know it before that). Currently, I am in school and majoring in Health Education. I come from an amazing family who loves to spend time together, and I don't really now where I would be with out them. I would love to learn how to surf and paint. Things I enjoy doing include: listening to music, playing the violin, piano or guitar, going to the beach, swimming, running, being with friends, watching sunsets, eating cold stone ice-cream with my husband, leaning about nutrition, Disney movies, shopping for new clothes, painting my toenails, and decorating my house.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because this gospel brings peace to my life. I have never been so happy! Sometimes it feels like the world is out to get me. Or in other words, things just don't go my way. But through the gospel of Jesus Christ I have been able to find a surreal peace inside of me while outside influences try to destroy it. I know that my Savior lives and loves me. He has shown me though small and simple things. I want to be able to share the joy I have with my future kids someday. I'm also a Mormon because I know that God still speaks to his children today, and I 'm so grateful for a prophet to lead and guide us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily basis. It evolves working on my character. I try to be more honest, kind, humble, patient, charitable, really anything to become more like my Lord and Savior. I am also an Index person for genealogy purposes. I believe that connecting with family is very important. It's fun to discover more about my ancestors and where my "roots" come from.
