Hi I'm Christa Sheffield

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to the most amazing husband in the world, who gave me two beautiful little girls. My family is the most important thing to me. I find so much joy in being able to raise my daughters. I graduated from Brigham Young University in the field of Dietetics, but am now putting all my efforts towards my children while being a stay at home mom. I love to run, bike, ski, or play any sport that I can. I currently spend most of my time teaching my toddler and baby,. cooking, cleaning, or trying to learn something new. I feel like knowledge is one thing I can always be gaining, whether in school, at work, or at home. I hope to always be learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that when I follow its teachings it feels right in my head and in my heart. I know that it makes me happy and gives me peace and that is ultimately all that I want.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching my children. I teach them to love their Heavenly Father and each other. I teach them to love their fellow man. I teach them that they are children of God and that he loves them. I teach them that as they are obedient and keep God's commandments that they can find happiness in this life, and one day return to live with their Father in Heaven. I teach them that it is only through the sacrifice of his son, Jesus Christ, that we can be perfected so we can reach this potential. I believe that there is no other opportunity or responsibility as great as teaching a child.
