Hi I'm Porter Wakefield

I'm a student, a brother, a son and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I m 24 years old, and I m a student studying criminal justice. I have always had an interest in law Enforcement and hope to have a career in it someday. I really enjoy being outside doing anything, shooting, hiking, biking, and camping. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, i also love to go to the gym and work out because it relieves the stresses from school and life. I also enjoy playing Xbox with my cousins also a good stress reliever.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I m a Mormon, it started out with my parents, they are members and when I was growing up I went to church with them. When I turned 8 years old I chose to follow my saviors example and be baptized, which was one of my most memorable days in my life. We continued to attend church for several years after my baptism and slowly stopped going. When I turned 19 my closest friends were all being called on missions and I didn't want to be left behind so I started going to church again and prepared for my mission, even with the little amount of knowledge that I retained from my childhood. when I was sent on my mission my life changed, and from then on I gained my own testimony that this church is Jesus Christs church on the earth again. My testimony only grew from then on and continues to grow stronger and stronger everyday I m thankful for church and Christs gospel and what it has done for me in my life and what it will do fro me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day at a time and enjoy it. I try to participate in church whenever I can and it has helped my life a lot. It is very difficult but doable and I strive to continue down the path our father in heaven has sent me down.
