Hi I'm Trevor R. Carlson

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah and outside of a two year mission to Brazil I've lived in Utah my entire life. Currently I'm a Husband and father of two beautiful daughters. I have a degree in business management from Southern Utah University and am currently getting my Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. I have been a Mortgage Loan officer since 2006 and have been very fortunate in spite of the difficulties in the industry. In addition I am an entrepreneur at heart and have a side business and various other investments.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and come from a long line of members that date back to the earliest days of the church. That however is not the reason I continue my membership today. As the youngest of 8 children and a single mother I learned about the importance of faith early in my life. I continue to serve the Lord because I know that it is through faith and obedience that we find the greatest joys and blessings that life has to offer. Having faith and a testimony in the Lord Jesus Christ and serving in his church gives purpose to my life and existence and acts as an anchor to help me continually make the decisions that bring me all of the blessings I desire in life. Being a Mormon blesses my family because it gives me and my family the guidance and support that helps us to live a more meaningful and productive life.

How I live my faith

Besides serving in various callings in the church I live my faith by carrying a prayer in my heart all day. I focus my mind on my faith in Jesus Christ and as a result I enjoy greater peace and joy everyday. I seek opportunities to serve my fellow man on a daily basis, serving in the church is important to me but I feel it is more important to serve in all aspects of life.
