Hi I'm Spencer

I love to laugh. I love to live. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am just an ordinary guy, born and raised in an LDS home and community. I have been taught the importance of service by my parents and do my best to apply service in my life as a core principle and enjoy every opportunity to serve others. I love to make memories and laugh with my family and friends. I enjoy being outdoors and i am serving a mission soon and can't wait!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have been blessed to be born in a Mormon family and I was able to lean on their testimonies until I was old enough to grow my own. I am a overly analytical thinker and have had to do a lot of personal study and prayer to grow the testimony I have today. That prayer and study along with many spiritual experiences have given me the knowledge I have of the living Christ, and his unyielding love for us. I know that God lives, and that his plan is one of true eternal happiness. This plan includes the gospel of Jesus Christ, which Christ established himself while in his mortal life, and has been restored through Joseph Smith and is lead by Thomas Spencer Monson today. Christ's other mission on earth was that of the Atonement. Where he died and was resurrected so that in our fallen state we may be perfected through faith, repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end to return to our heavenly home. The LDS church is not a religion. It is the world. It is the reason we are here. It is where we are going. It is how we should live our lives. It is our relationship with God. It is everything.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example at all times. I strive to keep myself as personally spiritual as possible. I serve others whenever I can. I teach young children in church about the gospel and it seems that sometimes their wonderful spirits are teaching me. I stay positive, with faith, happiness always follows. I am serving a mission soon, dedicating my life to teach the people of a foreign country, delaying my education, marriage, career, putting away all of my worldly things(t.v., movies, books, dating, sports, etc.) because I know that all of that is not as important than showing my gratitude to my Savior, by spreading His gospel.
