Hi I'm Mathias

I am from Germany. I am left handed. I am a software engineer. I love football and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up right in the center of a big city in Germany, as the youngest of three boys. In an early stage of my life a became fascinated by football and science. My interest in science bought me to look deeper into computers and very fast I realised that I want to work in this direction. Even though interested in football and science I could not walk pass the discourses of religion in the world, because it is taught at school, discussed in television and present on the streets. I always kept an open mind, but I was never really bothered to look more into it. The existence of a higher power was not denied from me, but I had a problem to imagine a loving heavenly father, due to the things that are happening in the world. What changed? I felt his God's love for me!

Why I am a Mormon

In short: I met the missionaries and they explained to me more about God. They always said that only through prayer I will find out for sure if what they are telling me is fein God. So one day I decided to say a prayer: I started with "Dear Heavenly Father," and immediately I could strongly feel the presence of some kind of energy. I paused, trying to discern what I felt and where it came from. After a couple of minutes I started to ask some very specific questions, like "Is Jesus Christ your son?", "Is the Book of Mormon Holy Scripture?" and "Is everything that the missionaries are teaching me from you?" All these questions and some more were answered with a powerful pulse of the power that I felt . This night God answered my prayer powerfully through the Holy Ghost, even so strong that I cannot deny it. Since then I frequently fell this power! Have you felt it? - It is definitely real. I know that God is real, that Jesus Christ is His son and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is teaching the fullness of the Gospel!

How I live my faith

Everyday I strife to improve and make life better, not only my own, but also the life of those around me. That starts with a simple smile!
