Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a State Golfer, I'm a Missionary, I'm an Eagle Scout, One of my goals in life is to climb Mt. Everest, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hello, My Name is Jordan Ditzler and I am from Washington State in the USA. I play lots of sports but my love is Golf. I also love to Snowmobile. I think that the Portland Trail Blazers & the Oregon Ducks are the best teams in the world! My family consists of my Mom & Dad, two sisters (one younger & one older) & a younger brother. Right now I am serving a mission in the EMM (England Manchester Mission). I was brought up in the church but there comes a point in everyone life where they need to find God for themselves. I applied a promise that is found in the Book of Mormon by a prophet named Moroni. Which says that if we Read the BOM, Ponder (think about till we understand) & Pray to God we will receive an answer (to know that the Book of Mormon is true). For me the answer didn't come all at once. In fact it took many years of searching. But in time... and through a lot of reading and prayer it came.. I had just enough light to where I could see just a few steps in front of me. I say that my testimony is like when you put a puzzle together. There comes a point in time when you see the picture... All the puzzle pieces aren't there... But you can still see what it is. And every day I find more puzzle pieces and add them to my puzzle (testimony). Throughout my mission I have had my testimony strengthened, and I know that it will continue to grow. God lives! And he has a plan for everyone of us! Life is what you make it to be... And it only gets better when you let God into it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have been able to expirence first hand what the prophet Joseph Smith went through. At a young age I had questions about the truth. I didn't know where to really turn. I decided to try out of different things... Which in total honesty just made me more confused. I applied (as I said before) a promise which is found within Moroni 10: 3-5. As I did I was able to receive a very specific answer. That answer has carried me to where I am today. All you have to do is try it. What have you got to loose (as a good friend once told me).

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. Not just because I am a missionary but because I know the blessing that come from living the Gospel. I know that if I am a good example to others they can see what a member of the Church of Jesus Christ is like. As a missionary however we set lots of goals and strive to become better individuals everyday. Some things in which I have learned that have really helped me is the (What, How, and Why) of missionary work. First is What: Go and Do = We need to act rather then be acted upon! Nothing was ever accomplished without action. How: One By One = the Savior ministered to everyone individually. This particular statement "One by One" Apears in the scriptures 11 times. Each time is very unique and important. And Why: No Regrets = If at the end of the day we can't say that we have done our best then we need to evaluate and apply concepts or principals in which will make us better for the next day. As I apply these principals I grow stronger and stronger everyday! And through serving a mission I have been able to see the blessings of living the gospel!
