Hi I'm Earl Seegrist

l Believe in Christ and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of nine wonderful children, grandfather of seven beautiful grandchildren. I am blessed to be married to my best friend Julie. We have been on the journey of raising a family together for thirty two years. Sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on Dec 18, 1981. I served as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the San Diego California Mission from 1979 to 1981. I am blessed to work with children and families as a Child Clinical Psychologist for the US Army.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be Gods chosen true church upon the earth with the priesthood authority to bless each of us with the saving ordinances spoken of by Jesus Christ. I believe that we have ordained apostles and a prophet that have literally been called o God to minister to the inhabitants of the earth in our time. I believe in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I love the they both testify of my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me. I know that his son Jesus Christ is my best friend, that he is my older brother, and that he, through the Atonement, redeemed me from spiritual death; paying the price for my sins personally. I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and I know they love me. I also know that they love you, and they want you to personally know that they know you and love you personally as our father and older brother that they are. I and my family have been so greatly blessed, beyond my ability to express, through Gods blessing individually and as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am very happy to be a Mormon. I love talking, sharing and testifying in love of these sacred truths. I personally hope and pray each day that each person I meet will know that I believe in Christ, as such I have a great love for each of his children I am blessed to know here in my active daily life at home, at work, at church, out in our community and of course on Facebook.

How I live my faith

I teach Sunday School, the Gospel Doctrine Class. All are welcome to join us, members and non-members alike. We meet each Sunday for our congregational meeting called "Sacrament Meeting" where we renew our covenants with Jesus Christ by partaking of a blessed sacrament of bread and water. All are welcome. We meet each Sunday at 10:00 am. Dress is Sunday best, meaning clothing that is considered to be reverent, and respectful. We are a very open, loving and accepting people, always looking for new friends in Christ, members and non-members alike.
