Hi I'm Cassie Fish

I will be living in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina, I love to play sports, I love to play with my nephew, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spend most of my time working and going to school. I have two jobs that I love very much! I am a Kids' Club Leader for an elementary school and I coach club volleyball for 14 year olds girls. I played volleyball for 7 years of my life and just recently quit because of knee complications, but i still love it! One day I hope to become a teacher and coach volleyball as a side job. I love spending time with my family, especially my new baby nephew! I love to exercise and play sports like crazy! I also love to read and watch chick flicks. I'm love to shop as long as my mom's buying, but otherwise I like to save my own money :)

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the church my whole life, but just recently I was actually "converted". I always thought I knew it was true, but I never really truly believed. I had a few really good friends that were really grounded in the gospel and it sparked a little curiosity in me. For the first time I actually wanted to know if what I had been taught my whole life was true. So I thought I would pray to know first. I always pictured having this big moment when you know it's all true and you are just overwhelmed with joy and with the Spirit and you are completely unshaken from that moment on. But it didn't work like that for me. My testimony continued to grow a little at a time as I continually prayed to my Heavenly Father and read the Book of Mormon. I had never found much joy in reading the scriptures until now. Scripture reading had always been a dreaded thing that we did with the family in the morning too early that I never payed attention anyways. But now while I read it on my own I began to find things that helped me to know that my Heavenly Father lives and knows who I am. He cares so much about me that He sent His son Jesus Christ. I know that Christ died for me so that one day I can live with my Heavenly Father again. I know that through Christ's atonement I can be completely forgiven for my sins if I repent. I also know that I can make it through any trials and tribulations as long as I continue to humble myself, ask for help, and endure to the end. I know that I'm never alone and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are always there waiting to lift my burdens, all I have to do is ask. I know that when I pray that my Heavenly Father hears me and answers my prayers. He loves me and wants the best for me, so I try everyday to be my best for Him. I know that if I do all that I can to be like Jesus Christ and be obedient to His commandments and live righteously I can one day live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again.

How I live my faith

Everyday I live my faith by being an example of Jesus Christ, whether I'm at school, work, or home. I try to be kind and serve everyone around me. I try my best to speak kind words to everyone and to keep my thoughts clean and pure. I try to listen to good music and watch appropriate TV shows that qualify me for the Holy Ghost's constant companionship. Every Wednesday I participate in activities made for the youth of the church that further our knowledge of the gospel at the same time as having fun. We serve others, play games, organize dances, and much more! We are always looking for ways to make our community, ward, and stake a better place.
