Hi I'm Anna Karli Hurren

I'm a wife to an amazing man, a full-time mother of four boys, a part-time lifestyle photographer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I feel so blessed because of this. The most important thing in my life is my family and I love that the focus of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the family. I love the fact that I know we can be together forever! My husband and I are raising our four young boys in this crazy world and the Church has provided us the opportunity to teach them good values, principles and morals and for that I am eternally grateful. It is my greatest hope that my boys will grow up to be upstanding citizens in their communities, to be successful, to be kind, and law abiding and I know that with the Church's influence they can do just that. Along with being a full-time mother, I am also a part-time lifestyle photographer. I love to capture the images of everyday life with my lens and families are one of my very favorite subjects. I love to see families that love each other and I very much enjoy being able to capture those special moments in life that can help us remember those things that bring us the greatest joy... our families!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I KNOW that Jesus Christ lived. I KNOW that he died and suffered for us so that we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I KNOW that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, sent to restore the full gospel to the earth once again. I KNOW that the priesthood of the gospel is a HUGE blessing in my life in so many ways. I KNOW that this church is true and I experience it's blessings every day of my life. I see the way it has changed peoples lives for the better. I see the way it has influenced my life and decisions I have made throughout my life. I see the huge blessings it has on my marriage and my children and I have felt the calming and loving influence of the Holy Ghost in my life, confirming to me the truthfulness of this Gospel. I'm a Mormon because I've seen, without a shadow of a doubt, the blessings that come from living this Gospel and I KNOW that what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches is true!

How I live my faith

I love serving in the Mormon church! I believe that one of the best ways to show love in our communities is through serving and the Mormon church provides a way that I can do that! Currently I am involved in planning activities for the adult women in our church. We are in the middle of planning a huge community wide Humanitarian Service Day for our community and it's been really exciting seeing everything coming together! I also often have the opportunity to play the organ during our Sunday worship meetings and I love this! I believe that music is a great way to feel the Spirit in our hearts and a great way to share our testimonies so I feel incredibly blessed that I can have this opportunity. Once a month a friend and I get together and go visit some of the women in our church. We share spiritual and uplifting messages and usually a small treat. This is such a great experience. It's always refreshing to get out and visit others, see what their needs might be and step-up to help those around me. I am always learning something new and reaping the rewards of spending time serving those around me!
