Hi I'm Emily

He's from Kentucky, I'm from Utah, and together, our home is where our family is. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My sweetheart and I became a family in the Bountiful temple. We have been blessed with 2 handsome boys who we love and cherish dearly. My whole world revolves around my family of 4 and making our house a home on our college budget. It gives me such joy to watch our son admire the world around him with such enthusiasm and excitement. I always love being wrapped up in a good book and I especially enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

Through seeking the truths of the gospel by reading the scriptures, sincere prayer, and exercising faith, I have come to know without any doubt, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one and true church. There are countless times in my life that I have felt His direction, guidance, and love. As husband and wife, we each came into our marriage with an immovable foundation and strong testimony, and we have continued to grow together as a couple and as a family, with our knowledge of the Gospel. That same unwavering foundation was heavily relied upon, when we very recently lost our little boy, Judson Beau. Although the hurt and pain may at times seem unbearable, the Atonement and our Savior brings me peace that cannot be found elsewhere. My foundation and testimony has been reinforced and strengthened in every way, especially through the importance of drawing closer to Christ and relying upon Him. I treasure the time here on earth with my family, and look forward to embracing my little boy again with the infinite time in the eternities.

How I live my faith

By following the commandments and guidance of the Prophet on a daily basis. I also strive to serve those around me, give comfort where comfort is needed, and support my husband as a faithful Priesthood Holder. We attend the temple often and are grateful for opportunities to bring others into the gospel. Motherhood is something I hold as a sacred calling, and although I'm not perfect, will always strive to fulfill to the best of my ability.
