Hi I'm Juliana Reynolds

I grew up in Provo Utah, have lots of achievements, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a total Country Girl. I love Country music and go Country Dancing twice a week. I also love West Coast Dancing. I love to go Four-wheeling and Dirt biking, Shooting, and Horse-Back Riding. I love to do pretty much anything outdoors. I graduated as a Certified Phlebotomist (Blood Drawer) in 2005 and a Certified Medical Assistant in 2010. I have been an active part of the March of Dimes for the last 17 yrs, 10+ of which I have had my own team.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have had many difficult and trying experiences in my life that have brought me closer to the lord, helping my testimony grow closer to the Lord. A huge part of my testimony is the love that the savior has for each of us, so much that he died for all of us. The love of the Savior, and the Atonement are probably some of the biggest portions of my testimony. There are many reason that I have chosen to be a part of this gospel. One is because that is what I have grown up knowing, another is because I know many good people who could be so much better with Christ, than they could be by themselves. I know that Joseph Smith Restored the gospel, with the Help of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus Christ Suffered both in Gethsemane, and on the Cross for all of us so that one day we might return to him. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true Prophet called of God. I know that we are sent here to learn from our hardships and trials. We all have a Father in Heaven and if we will but pray to him our prayers will be answered, sometimes not in our timeline, but God does answer all prayers. Over all, I am a Mormon, Because it is the right thing to do.

How I live my faith

I attend church in a local singles ward and I am the Ward Historian. I love this calling so much. I record who speaks and go into a lot of detail about what they speak about. When we have firesides, i do the History there too. I go to ward and stake activities and record info about them as well as take pictures and submit them with the History at the end of each year. We have a lot of different things that go on for our ward. This keeps us all really involved. Occasionally we will have FHE at one of the home of the Bishopric Members.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Juliana Reynolds
If we read the fourth Article of Faith we read "We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost." Here we read that to return to our Father in Heaven after this life is over we must be baptized. Unfortunately there are some people that die without first being baptized and this is why we complete Baptisms for the Dead, in the Temple. Once the ordinance has been completed int he temple the acceptance or declination is up to each individual. Show more Show less
