Hi I'm Hunter Brown

I'm born and raised in South Carolina. I'm a runner and love sports. I come from a big family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Being fifth in the line with two older brother, two older sisters, and a younger sister, I know what it means to have a big family. I am a highschooler and run track and cross country for my school but am a lover of any sport put in front of me. I live in a beach town and I love to surf. I am into almost all music and am constantly listening to it, I play the piano and the trumpet and enjoy listening to others talents. I live an active and healthy lifestyle, and try to constantly hope and work for a better world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the continual happiness and strength I gain from the gospel. I love God and keep his commandments and in return I receive numberless blessings and have been given the invaluable promise of eternal life. I know with absolute assurance that promise is true. I have prayed and received an answer for myself. My Savior Jesus Christ is my reason for every productive thing I do. As I try to serve others, study my scriptures, gain an education, and improve myself athletically I literally feel His motivating energy pushing me forward. I have read the Book of Mormon and the Holy Bible and feed from their words. I know that modern day revelation is possible and testify of the reality of prophets, just like Moses of the Old Testament, The Apostles of the New Testament, Alma of the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith the founder of our church, and Thomas S. Monson the prophet today. Lastly, I know that because of Christ's sacrifice I can repent of my sins, follow the commandments, and live eternally with my family and Heavenly Father. "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." Joshua 1:9

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it and abiding by it every day. I use the talents I have been given for good, like playing the piano in church or pushing others athletically. I like to spread the message of Jesus Christ to my friends and others who are curious about my faith. I strive to fellowship and uplift others to brighten the world we live in. I enjoy attending my church services Sunday, and participating in youth programs throughout the week. My faith is my guideline for all that I do, and I try let it inspire others as others have inspired mine.
