Hi I'm Joanna

I'm a Mormon. I am a wife and a mother of two.

About Me

I am a college graduate with a bachelors degree in Home and Family Living. I am a wife and mother and care a lot about strengthening my family and other families. I love to walk, my family and I walk everywhere. We walk to the grocery store, to the library, to church when we are not getting rides to church and to the park. I like to bike, and be out doors. I enjoy crochet. I have made sweaters, hats and blankets for my children and as gifts for friends and family. I love my family and spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was eight years old. I chose to be baptized because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I had a desire to follow him and keep his commandments. My belief and testimony started out small and simple and through the years has grown very strong. I know that the Church is true and that it is Christ's church. I know that my savior lives and loves me. I testify that he is the Son of God and that he died for me and my sins. I know that God hears and answers my prayers. I have seen his hand in my life, leading me and guiding me. I know that the Book of Mormon and the Bible are true, the Holy Ghost continues to bear witness to me or their truthfulness. Reading the Book of Mormon in particular has strengthened me in the trials of my life and has especially strengthened my faith in Jesus Christ. I love this Church and know that it is true, it has and continues to bless my life as I strive to live by its teachings.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and partake of the sacrament to remember Christ's sacrifice and to recommit to living his teachings. I read my scriptures and say my prayers daily. I am a visiting teacher and am grateful for the opportunity to visit and befriend other sisters in my church.
