Hi I'm Karen

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I am a stay at home mother of four children. I love to paint, sew, craft. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of four children. I love being a stay at home mom. It is a hard job but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I love to sew, paint, scrapbook, and any crafts in general. I also love photography. I hope to be able to go back to school some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and I have received a testimony through the Holy Ghost that this gospel is true through many different experiences I have had in my life. As I have read the Book of Mormon I have felt and had the spirit witness to me that what I was reading was true. I have also witnessed the power of priesthood blessings, fasting and prayer. My son would not be here on this earth without them. My life has been touched and blessed in so many ways because of the fullness of the gospel. I know the Savior lives. I know he died for us and atoned for our sins if we will repent. I am not perfect but I strive to do all that I can to follow the Savior so that I may live with my Heavenly Father again. I love the gospel, my Savior and my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have the wonderful opportunity to teach children in church on Sunday. I also teach young married couples gospel principles once a week in what we call Institute class. I have been involved in service opportunities in the community also. In the last year I have help serve food in soup kitchens, collected school supplies for needy children, collected and donated items to a womens shelter, helped with food drives, and helped with a clean up at an environmental center. I love to help and serve others. I try to live the gospel and teach it to my children by what I say and by what I do.
