Hi I'm Zak

I love to smile and being a Mormon helps me do that!

About Me

Hi my name is Zak, I was born in Salt Lake City, I was raised in American Fork for most of my life I love sports, out doors, if there is anything recreational I love doing it. I love to work! I started working finding a job when i was twelve and haven't stopped working since. I will do anything I put my mind to. When I set a goal I always will do my best to achieve it. I am one of 5 kids in my family right in the middle. I have two brothers and two sisters who I love so much. They have helped me become who I am now. I love my family and enjoy being with them as much as I can. I also love hanging out with friends. My friends have been a huge influence on who I have become as well. All of my friends have been an example to me in some way or another. By having experiences with my family and friends, has helped me change. I love the family of God no matter who they are, I will always do my best to build them up and encourage them to do good things. Looking up to leaders such as football coaches, teachers and parents, allowed me to be the person I am now and make the decisions that I have made and will make later on in life. Not always will I make the right decision but that is what repentance is for. I know as I do the best I can to have Christ in my life, there is nothing that can keep me from choosing the right.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my family, because I love my friends, and because I love my Savior. I was raised in a family that supported me in any decision I have ever made. Through there love I have realized the importance and blessing it is to have a family. I have lots of friends that have strengthened me and my faith. I have had many wonderful spiritual experiences as I have grown up around people who care for me. Being a Mormon has helped me become who I am now and will continue to do so as I live my faith in a way that is most pleasing to God. I have been in the darkest points in my life but as I always come back to my Savior, He will help me through my trials and he will show his love for me. As this happens it gives me a desire to reach out to those without the knowledge that there is someone there for them. I know as we strive each day to follow Christ, he will help us to become stronger as we humble ourselves to him we can overcome anything. Christ suffered so that we wouldn't have to. That is why I am a "Mormon" or in better terms a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is because it is Gods kingdom on the earth today. What better place is there? There is not a better place. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our savior amen.

How I live my faith

I have been asked by a living Prophet to be like Savior Jesus Christ. I have been called by revelation to say what He would say and do what he would do and act how he would act if he was personally ministering to those I come in contact with each day. I will do all I can as I am in debt to him, to be the missionary He wants me to be. I know he will stand by me as I proclaim the truth. I cant look at myself anymore. There are many others who are in need of the savior in there life who are lost or need a sense of joy and happiness. Each day is a knew challenge but as I see the lives of others change through my service and the Lords help, it makes the work I do worth every moment. I am currently serving in the Anaheim California Mission and will be for the next 24 months. I have never found more joy anywhere els then in the service of my God and Jesus Christ. This is his work, and his glory. I am ever thankful to be a part of it.
