Hi I'm Matthew

I'm a Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

I grew up in Narragansett, RI. I am married with 3 children. I love them very much and work hard at E.B. to suport them. I like warm sunny days.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints because I know it is the Lords kingdom and that Christ leads the church. The Holy Ghost testify's of this to me whenever I learn of His truths. The feeling I recieve when I read the Book of Mormon, like a burning inside, is an indescribable joy. It can only come from the Holy Ghost. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. A second witness of the divine mission of Jesus Christ. The fulness of the gospel is contained within its pages. Also, the docterines just plain make sence and are clear to be understood. When I read the Bible I see the same orginization, teachings and covinents here and now. I know that if I pray and read the scriptures daily and follow Christ teaching I will live with Him again and will have my family with me forever. Nothing matters more to me than that.

How I live my faith

The church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints is not just a religion it is a way of life. Being a latter-day saint is not just what I am, it's who I am. It's how I act, what I say and do. My family and I go to church to learn the Lord's commandments and we live them during the week. I pray and read from the scriptures daily. Wether I'm helping out at the church's food store house or preaching the gospel with the missionaries, I feel so uplifted serving others. I try to serve whenever I can. Everyone should take, make, the time to give. Charity is the pure love of Christ. The joy I have from knowing Hevenly Father's plan for His children is indescribeable. I share the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with my friends. I want everyone to feel the happiness and peace I feel.
